Nasser Joined the Special Investigation Commission in 2003 and has played a key role in the redesign, development commissioning and tuning of the IT systems and the information security in all its aspects.

His current responsibilities include the update of security policies to mitigate possible risks, the update and expansion and further integration of the existing software, workflow and EDM (Electronic Document Management) solutions to optimize the operations and provide better services.

Before joining the SIC, he worked in the private sector in Lebanon and Europe for international software solution companies where he headed many projects ranging from tailor made communication solution, archiving and retrieval projects, large secure database systems, manual entry of large paper-based sensitive information and security focused systems.

Nasser holds is an electrical engineer, graduating from ESIB (Université Saint Joseph, Beirut) in 1986, followed by multiple courses focused on IT and security in which he is a certified professional.

He is an active member of the Egmont IEWG, and the ITWG previously where he headed and collaborated in multiple projects for the Egmont group.
