Ionut Stoica
Senior Project OfficerCybercrime Program Office- Council of EuropeIonut Stoica is Senior Project Officer within the Council of Europe, Cybercrime Program Office, aiming at strengthening legislation and institutional capacities on cybercrime in the Southern Neighborhood region.
Prior to his current position, Ionut was the Head of the Bureau for Combatting Online Fraud and Electronic Payment Fraud, within the Romanian Police Central Cybercrime Unit.
He has more than 11 years’ experience in the cybercrime field.
Ionut holds a Bachelor degree in Law from the Police Academy of Bucharest and a Master’s degree in International Police Cooperation.
