Maya Chamli

Ms. Chamli joined the team of the HCP since its inception in 2002 as a research analyst covering the power sector. Since 2006, in her capacity of project manager, she has led and managed the tender processes for privatizing the mobile telecommunications sector and for increasing power generation on an IPP basis.

Ms. Chamli has actively participated in the drafting of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Law of 2017. Since the law enactment, she has been managing the Lebanon Cloud data center tendering process on a PPP basis.

Ms. Chamli is also the chair of the project team formed by the United Nations – Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) to develop international standards for PPPs in water supply and sanitation.

She holds a Bachelor and Masters of Arts in Economics from the American University of Beirut and is a CFA charter holder.
